A female student stands accused of stealing various belongings, including phones, bags, and other items from fellow students at the University of Calabar in Cross River State.

The suspect was reportedly caught in the act by a student, Ruki Freeborn, during an exam on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. According to Ruki, the alleged thief had entered the exam hall with the intention of stealing.

Ruki described the modus operandi, explaining that the suspect would roam around the University of Calabar's campus with a sizable bag, seizing phones, bags, power banks, and other items from unsuspecting students.
