University of Ibadan Issues Reminder: Closing Date for 2023/2024 Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening is November 17, 2023

In a timely reminder, the University of Ibadan has notified prospective candidates that the post-UTME/Direct Entry screening for the 2023/2024 admission exercise will conclude on Friday, November 17, 2023. The university emphasizes that there may be no extension of the registration period, urging candidates to complete the process within the stipulated timeframe.
Payment Instructions:
Candidates are instructed to log in to the Admission Portal (https://www.admissions.ui.edu.ng) using their JAMB Registration Number as the username and their surname as the password. A portal access fee of N3,000.00 and a screening fee of N2,000.00 should be paid through the Admission Portal in favor of the University of Ibadan (Admission Processing Fee Account). Candidates must provide their telephone number and email address during payment.

Payment Options:
1. Credit/Debit Card Payment using ATM card
2. Cash at the bank using the print-out from the portal to make payment at the bank
3. Direct bank account debit via Internet banking tools
Upon successful payment, candidates are required to print the payment receipt, proceed to complete the bio-data form, submit, and print.
Date of Post UTME:
The post-UTME examination is scheduled to take place from Monday, November 27, 2023, to Friday, December 01, 2023. Specific examination dates for each candidate will be communicated in due course. Candidates are advised to provide valid and active email addresses and phone numbers to receive important information. The University emphasizes that it will not be responsible for failure to receive information due to invalid email addresses and non-functional phone numbers.

Additional Admission Requirements:
- Candidates not sixteen (16) years of age at the time of admission picking will not be cleared until the following session.
- Candidates seeking admission to programs at the College of Medicine and Faculty of Pharmacy must possess five (5) credits at one sitting in relevant O/level subjects.
- For other programs, candidates presenting two O/level results must have at least six (6) credits in relevant subjects.
- The University accepts WAEC, NECO, and ICGS, as well as Cambridge Advance Level, NCE, NRN, OND, HND, and degree certificates from recognized institutions for Direct Entry admission. IJMB and JUPEP are not accepted.
- Candidates are advised to check the list of matriculating subjects accepted in the university and view the UTME combination and O/level requirements for their chosen courses.
The University emphasizes strict adherence to the outlined guidelines for successful completion of the online submissions.
