University of Ilorin Students' Union Provides Update on Disbursement of NELFUND Loan

The Students' Union of the University of Ilorin has issued an update to students regarding the disbursement of the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFund) for the 2022/2023 academic session.

According to the union, students who applied for NELFund and received the upkeep payment for August are eligible to request a refund. To do so, they must submit a letter to the Bursar through the Dean, Student Affairs Unit (SAU), accompanied by the following documents:

- A copy of last session's school fee receipt

- A copy of upkeep payment receipt

- Recipient account details for the Upkeep Payment

The Students' Union has commended the President Tinubu-led administration, NELFund management, and University Management for their transparency and prudence in disbursing the loan.

The union has reiterated its commitment to prioritizing the welfare of all students, with transparency and accountability.
