University of Jos Commends NELFund for Successful Disbursement

The University of Jos has commended the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) for its successful disbursement of loans to students.

In a letter dated December 19, 2024, the Bursar of the University, F.P Umbugala, confirmed the receipt of N732,084,000.00, which was released for the 2023/2024 academic session, benefiting 5,429 students.

The University praised NELFUND for its operational effectiveness, seamless processing, and integrity, which have given hope for the country's educational system. The University looks forward to continuing its cordial relationship with NELFUND.

NELFUND was established by the Federal Government to provide financial support to qualified Nigerian students for tuition and other fees, charges, and upkeep during their studies in approved tertiary academic institutions and vocational and skills acquisition institutions within Nigeria.
