University of Maiduguri Delegation from Nasarawa State Visits Borno Governor Over Flood Disaster

A high-powered delegation from Nasarawa State, including members from the University of Maiduguri, visited Borno State Governor Professor Babagana Umara Zulum to offer condolences following the recent flood disaster.

Led by Deputy Governor Emmanuel Akabe, the delegation comprised the Emir of Lafia and Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri, Hon. Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad I CFR, JSC (Rtd), as well as the Emir of Keffi.

Accompanied by the Acting Vice-Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri, Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele, and principal officers from the university, the team also visited the Palace of the Shehu of Borno. They extended heartfelt condolences, prayed for the departed, and expressed solidarity with the people of Borno State during this challenging period.
