University of Maiduguri SUG President Condemns Kidnapping of Medical Students

The Student Union Government (SUG) President-Elect, Hafiz Mohammed Bello, has strongly condemned the kidnapping of medical students who were on their way to a workshop.

In a press release, Bello expressed sadness and urgency, describing the incident as a "heinous act" that highlights the daily insecurity and danger faced by students. He demanded the immediate release of the kidnapped students and called for a thorough investigation into the incident.

Bello also urged the authorities to increase security measures to protect students, particularly those in the medical field, who are crucial to the nation's healthcare system.
