UNIZIK Faculty of Law Alumni Launch Auditorium Project

Nnamdi Azikiwe University's Faculty of Law has commenced the construction of a new auditorium, with a foundation stone laying ceremony led by Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Carol Arinze-Umobi. She praised Dean Professor Ogugua V.C. Ikpeze for her leadership and urged students to remain disciplined. The new auditorium is expected to be completed within a year and will be essential for academic activities.

The Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Faculty of Law Alumni Association has announced an ambitious project to construct a new auditorium for the faculty. The initiative, designed to enhance the institution's infrastructure, was marked by a ceremonial foundation stone laying, officiated by Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Carol Arinze-Umobi.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Professor Arinze-Umobi expressed her heartfelt enthusiasm for the project, highlighting the auditorium’s significance to the faculty’s advancement. She praised Dean of the Faculty of Law, Professor Ogugua V.C. Ikpeze, PhD, for her leadership and the ongoing development within the faculty. The Acting Vice-Chancellor also urged students to focus on their studies and maintain the faculty’s dress code, stressing the importance of discipline and professionalism.

Professor Ikpeze described the ceremony as a milestone, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the faculty. She noted that the forthcoming auditorium will be pivotal for academic activities, serving as a venue for lectures, symposia, and intellectual discussions.

Acknowledging the substantial contributions from the Faculty of Law Alumni Association, Professor Ikpeze called on more alumni to support the project to ensure its prompt completion.
