UNN Invites Applications for 2025/2026 JUPEB Programme

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has announced the commencement of admissions into its 2025/2026 Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) programme.

The programme awards the JUPEB certificate, enabling successful candidates to gain Direct Entry admission into degree programmes at UNN and other JUPEB-affiliated universities in Nigeria and abroad.

Eligible candidates must possess a minimum of five credit passes in not more than two sittings, including Mathematics and English Language, along with other relevant subjects applicable to their desired course of study. The programme spans a minimum of one academic session comprising two semesters.

Arts:

• Government/Literature-in-English/CRS (GLCRS)

Social Sciences:

• Government/Literature/CRS (GLCRS)
• Government/Economics/CRS/IRS (GECRS)
• Economics/Economics/Literature (GEL)
• Government/Economics/Mathematics (GEM)
• Biology/Economics/Government (BEG)

Management Sciences:

• Government/Economics/Mathematics (GEM)

Sciences:

• Physics/Chemistry/Biology (PCB)
• Biology/Chemistry/Economics (BCE)
• Physics/Biology/Mathematics (PBM)
• Chemistry/Physics/Mathematics (CPM)
• Physics/Economics/Mathematics (PEM)

Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦20,000 via the Remita platform at any bank. Payment must be made through the official UNN portal (unnportal.unn.edu.ng), which generates an invoice containing a Remita number for bank payment. Candidates should follow the application steps on the portal carefully, including uploading a recent passport photograph (not older than three months, maximum size 100KB).
