UNN's Public Relations Council has begun a licensing process for all university-affiliated media to curb misinformation, with a submission deadline of July 5th.

The Public Relations Officers Council of the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN), in collaboration with the Office of the Student Union Government (SUG) Director of Information, has announced the commencement of the licensing process for all media houses affiliated with the university. This move aims to mitigate the spread of misinformation and ensure that only verified information is disseminated across various platforms.

The announcement was made during the recent P.R.O Conference, where it was emphasized that obtaining a license is mandatory for:

- All UNN bloggers

- All UNN WhatsApp TVs

- All businesses affiliated with UNN

The licensing form is now available, and all interested parties must obtain and submit their forms before the deadline on July 5th. Screening of applicants will commence immediately after the deadline.
