Borno State University, Maiduguri (BOSU), has unveiled its comprehensive admission requirements for the upcoming 2024 academic session, ensuring prospective students are well-informed as they embark on their educational journey.

The admission criteria are tailored for both UTME and Direct Entry applicants.
BOSU Admission Requirements by UTME:
Applicants must have reached the age of 16.
A minimum of 6 "Cs (credits)" in O'level result(s), including English, Math, and three other subjects relevant to their chosen curriculum.
A minimum score of 160 points in the JAMB UTME exam.
Successful completion of the BOSU Post UTME screening exam, with performance varying based on the chosen program of study.
Only one sitting result is accepted for admission to BOSU.
Candidates must choose the appropriate combination of subjects for their desired course.
Meeting the specified cut-off points for respective courses is imperative for admission.
BOSU Admission Requirements by Direct Entry:
Applicants must have at least five (5) credits in O'level results, including English language and mathematics. However, results from two sessions are not allowed.
Applicants must be 16 years old.
Candidates must obtain the JAMB registration form directly from JAMB to apply.
Candidates must possess one of the following certificates: OND, ND, NCE, IJMB, Cambridge A level, BSc, HND, or ICAN.
The admission process kicks off with the purchase of an application form, available either online or directly from the university.
