WAEC Conducts Free Mock Exam Ahead of CBT-based WASSCE
Acting Head of Public Affairs, Moyosola Adesina, stated that candidates can access the mock exam through the mockcbt.waec.org.ng portal from phones or personal computers. The portal will be available throughout the two days, with a second attempt allowed if the first fails.
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the schedule for its free mock examination on January 23 and 24, 2024. This mock test precedes the computer-based West African Senior Secondary School Examination (WASSCE) set to commence nationwide on January 31 for private candidates.

Registered candidates will receive login details via email and phone after registration closes. Additionally, a tutorial video on using the examination portal will be shared on WAEC's social media platforms.
WAEC clarified that the Computer-Based Testing model for 2024 is exclusively for private candidates and won't be used for general school candidates.
