Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for admission, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Candidates must have chosen Western Delta University, Oghara, as their preferred institution and scored a minimum of 150 in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by JAMB.
- Candidates who did not initially choose WDU but wish to be admitted must apply for a change of institution to WDU via the JAMB portal.
- Direct Entry (DE) candidates must meet the relevant admission requirements and apply through JAMB.
- All candidates (UTME or DE) must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings (WAEC/NECO), in addition to other departmental requirements.
Application Procedure
- If WDU is not your first choice, visit the JAMB portal (www.jamb.gov.ng) to change your institution and programme of study to WDU.
- Upload your O’ Level and 2025 UTME results to the JAMB and WDU portals.
- Pay the prescribed application fees.
- Candidates may apply online via admissions.wdu.edu.ng or physically at the University’s main campus in Oghara.
