Western Delta University (WDU), Oghara, Delta State, has announced the commencement of admissions for the 2025/2026 academic session into its UTME and Direct Entry (DE) programmes across various faculties.

The institution is inviting qualified candidates to apply for admission into the following programmes:

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for admission, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  1. Candidates must have chosen Western Delta University, Oghara, as their preferred institution and scored a minimum of 150 in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by JAMB.
  2. Candidates who did not initially choose WDU but wish to be admitted must apply for a change of institution to WDU via the JAMB portal.
  3. Direct Entry (DE) candidates must meet the relevant admission requirements and apply through JAMB.
  4. All candidates (UTME or DE) must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings (WAEC/NECO), in addition to other departmental requirements.

Application Procedure

  • If WDU is not your first choice, visit the JAMB portal (www.jamb.gov.ng) to change your institution and programme of study to WDU.
  • Upload your O’ Level and 2025 UTME results to the JAMB and WDU portals.
  • Pay the prescribed application fees.
  • Candidates may apply online via admissions.wdu.edu.ng or physically at the University’s main campus in Oghara.
