100 Nigerians Awarded Scholarships and Mentorship by i-Scholar Initiative for 2024

The i-Scholar Initiative (iSI), a non-governmental organisation (NGO), has unveiled the names of 100 Nigerians set to benefit from its annual scholarship program. This initiative aims to mentor and empower young African students to pursue graduate studies by providing access to fully-funded scholarships at prestigious foreign universities through its network of partners.
The scholarships offered by iSI cover expenses for standardized tests such as the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) and the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), which are prerequisites for admission to leading universities in North America and Europe.

According to a statement by Dr. Olufemi Fajolu, the organisation's executive secretary, the selection process was conducted rigorously by the organisation's operations team, led by Mrs. Hannah Bamijoko.
Tolulope Ewherido, chair of the board of trustees, expressed the organisation's commitment to nurturing a pool of talented Nigerians whose skills will contribute to the nation's development. He thanked volunteers and donors for their support in fulfilling this mission.

Victor Ogunmola, president of the organisation, echoed appreciation for stakeholders and donors, acknowledging their crucial role in the initiative's success.
The newly awarded scholars will be invited to join i-Scholar Initiative's platforms and will be formally welcomed into the organisation during an official event scheduled for June.
