Abiodun Godwin Onimisi, a 29-year-old native of Kogi State, has made his family and community proud by bagging a first-class honours degree in Pharmacy from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS).
Onimisi's academic excellence and passion for dispensing drugs have earned him recognition as the best graduating Pharmacy student.
Onimisi's journey to academic success began with a passion for Pharmacy that dates back to his childhood. "I chose to study Pharmacy because, from a young age, I developed a passion for dispensing drugs," he revealed in an interview. His love for the profession drove him to work hard and support his coursemates in understanding complex concepts.
Despite facing financial struggles, Onimisi's determination and perseverance paid off. He credits his success to the support of his parents and his own hard work. "I rarely missed lectures. I made notes from what the lecturer gave and ensured I studied up until midnight," he explained.
