Abia Governor Approves Renovations for Over 200 Schools
Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has approved renovations for 170 primary and 51 secondary schools. The move reflects a commitment to education and integrity in academic assessments.
In a recent development, the Abia State government has also given the green light for the renovation of 170 primary schools and 51 secondary schools across the state. Furthermore, construction of six model schools is underway in various Senatorial zones of Abia State.
Announcing the initiative, the Commissioner for Information and Culture, Prince Kanu, highlighted the government's commitment to education, stating that it would bring immense joy to students, parents, and the entire community.

Meanwhile, the West African Examination Council (WAEC) has taken decisive action against examination malpractices by delisting several private schools in the state.
