The Management of Abia State University Uturu (ABSU) has announced that they are yet to release her admission list for the 2023/2024 academic session saying that the most circulated news on social media about admission list and payment of acceptance fee is totally fake.

This was contained in a memo released by the University Governing Council and closely monitored by Myschoolnews correspondent.

The attention of the Governing Authorities of Abia State University, Uturu, has been drawn to the false information circulating in the social media purporting the release of the 2023/2024 Abia State University Admission list, and requesting candidates to pay Acceptance fees in some designated banks.

We wish to state that Abia State University is yet to release any admission list neither has it demanded any payment of any kind for acceptance or any other fees whatsoever.

Therefore the public is hereby warned not to fall prey to the antics of fraudsters, as Abia State University is still processing admissions for the 2023/2024 academic session in line with the laid down procedures prescribed by JAMB and will release the first Batch of Admission list at the appropriate time.
