ABSU Signs MOU with William Wheatly Theological College to Enhance Educational Quality

In a significant stride towards enhancing educational standards, Abia State University, Uturu (ABSU) has formalized a partnership with William Wheatly Theological College, Azuiyi-Oloko. This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) underscores a commitment to fostering quality education delivery and collaboration between the two esteemed institutions.
At the signing ceremony, Distinguished Professor Onyemachi M. Ogbulu, the Vice-Chancellor of ABSU, emphasized the importance of upholding academic excellence and adherence to established standards. "Maintaining the integrity of our academic processes and university regulations is paramount," stated Professor Ogbulu. He reiterated that any deviation from the agreed terms, especially concerning admissions, examinations, and graduation procedures, could result in the review or withdrawal of certificates issued.

Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate, Elder Dr. V. O. Olugele (JP), representing the Trustees, acknowledged the significance of the partnership. He lauded the Vice-Chancellor and ABSU's management for their vision and commitment to advancing educational excellence, pledging William Wheatly Theological College's adherence to the terms outlined in the MOU.

The signing ceremony was attended by key officials, including the two Deputy Vice-Chancellors, Professor G. I. N. Emezue (Academic) and Professor Ogbonna Onuoha (Administration), Registrar Dr. Acho Elendu, Governing Council member Professor G. N. Chima, Director of ICE Professor J. U. Ogbonna, and Mrs. Gracelee Nwokocha, Head of the Legal Unit.
