ABU Generates N8 Million at Architecture e-Studio Launch
Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, raised N8 million at the launch of its M.Sc. e-Studio in the Department of Architecture. The funds will be used to equip the studio with modern materials for student training.

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, has raised a total of eight million Naira (N8 million) during the launch of the M.Sc. e-Studio at the Department of Architecture. The funds will be used to equip the e-Studio with state-of-the-art materials for enhanced student practice.
The launch event took place on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the Yusufu Bala Usman Hall, Ahmadu Bello University, Main Campus, Samaru. The e-Studio is designed to integrate technological advancements into architectural education and practice, providing students with a modernized learning environment.
Architect Arabi Bello, who served as the Chief Launcher, contributed N2.6 million on behalf of himself, his firm, and friends. Additionally, several fellows of the Nigerian Institute of Architecture (NIA) and architecture students collectively donated more than five million Naira (N5 million) towards the initiative.
The initiative marks a significant step in advancing architectural training at ABU, aligning with global trends in digital and technological innovations within the field.
