ABU Queen Amina Replica Receives Royal Distinction Award

Suwaiba Abdulkarim, the iconic lady who represented Queen Amina at the 2025 ABUSRC Cultural Carnival, has received a prestigious Royal Distinction Award.

The award recognizes her elegance, cultural pride, and outstanding representation of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) on a grand stage.

Queen Amina, also known as Amina Sarauniya Zazzau, was a legendary warrior queen of Zazzau, a city-state in present-day Nigeria. She ruled in the late 16th century and is celebrated for her military prowess, diplomatic finesse, and architectural achievements. Her legacy extends beyond her military conquests, as she symbolizes strength, resilience, and leadership.
