Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Declares Work-Free Day to Mark Islamic New Year

Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) has declared Monday, July 8, 2024, as a work-free day to commemorate the first day of the Islamic calendar, Al-Muharram 1446 AH.

According to a statement released by the Office of the Registrar, the decision follows the Bauchi State Government's declaration of the day as a public holiday.
