The Acting Rector of Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic, Lafia, Dr. Nurudeen Mu'azu Maifata CLN, addressed the academic staff during a one-day training session on promotion guidelines held today at the institution.
In his presentation, Dr. Maifata emphasized the importance of publishing for academics, stating, "There is a desire for academics across the world to publish in order not to perish in academia."
He was joined by members of his management team, including Deans and Directors from various schools and directorates within the Polytechnic.
The event aimed to equip faculty members with the necessary guidelines and knowledge to enhance their professional development and career progression.
