Ahmadu Bello University Hosts International Conference on African Indigenous Languages

Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, will host an international conference on African Indigenous Languages from October 29 to 30, 2024. The Executive Governor of Katsina State, Dr. Dikko Umar Radda, will declare the event open as the Special Guest of Honour.

The conference, organized by the Department of African Languages and Cultures, will focus on the theme "Indigenous African Languages as Instruments for Viable Development."Former Vice-Chancellor of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Prof. Muhammad Tijjani Bande, will deliver the keynote address.

Participants from across the globe are expected to attend.
