Ahmadu Bello University Hosts Public Lecture on Mastering Public Leadership

Ahmadu Bello University's Faculty of Administration will host a public lecture titled "Mastering Public Leadership: Building a Governance Culture that Moves Nigeria Forward" on Monday, August 4, 2025.

The lecture will take place at 10:00 AM in the Yusufu Bala Usman Hall, ABU Main Campus, Samaru, Zaria.

The guest speaker for this event is Khadijah Haliru, an ABU alumna, business strategy consultant, leadership coach, and advocate for change. She currently serves as a councillor in the Town of Ingersoll, Ontario, Canada. The chairman for the event is Prof. Abubakar Muhammad Madaki, Director of the Institute of Administration at Ahmadu Bello University.

The public lecture is hosted by Prof. Adamu Ahmed, Vice-Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. The event will also be streamed live on YouTube via the channel (link unavailable), allowing a wider audience to participate.

The Faculty of Administration at Ahmadu Bello University was established in 1967 with the mission of producing highly skilled and intellectual manpower to meet the strategic needs of the nation through the public and private sectors. The faculty offers various programs, including undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in departments such as Accounting, Business Administration, Local Government and Development Studies, and Public Administration.
