The University of Nigeria (UNN) has expanded its international collaborations through its Directorate of International Collaboration, established in 2016. Under the leadership of Professor Kenneth Chibuzor Ofokansi, the office manages global partnerships focusing on staff and student exchanges, research, curriculum development, and joint conferences. This initiative aims to elevate UNN’s global reputation and foster significant academic and research connections worldwide.
The University of Nigeria (UNN), a prominent academic institution in Nigeria, has significantly enhanced its global presence through a well-established framework of international relations and strategic partnerships. The university's Directorate of International Collaboration, established in 2016 under the leadership of Professor Benjamin Chukwuma Ozumba, the then Vice Chancellor, has been at the forefront of managing international partnership programmes. Professor Kenneth Chibuzor Ofokansi served as the pioneering Director of the Directorate. The office plays a crucial role in advancing UNN's Global Strategy by overseeing international linkages in staff and student exchanges, research and training programmes, curriculum development, and joint conferences and research projects.
The Directorate’s efforts are integral to bolstering UNN's reputation as a leading global institution by fostering new and dynamic international collaborations.
