In a remarkable display of commitment to education and youth empowerment, Mr. Aderemi Adeoye, the Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, has pledged scholarships to the all-round best graduating Junior Secondary School 3 (JSS3) students of Total Child School Awka.

During a courtesy visit by the school management to his office at the State Police Command Headquarters in Amawbia, Commissioner Adeoye announced his intention to offer scholarships to deserving students as part of his humanitarian contribution to a better Nigeria and to promote education among youths.

"I have passion for the school because of your dedication to your studies. I have seen several students on the road during school hours, but I have not seen any of your students. The spirit of academics you exhibit has paid off," Commissioner Adeoye remarked during the visit.

The scholarship, which is for JSS3 students only, will extend throughout secondary school education for those who maintain exceptional performance. If the selected student sustains their academic excellence into SS1, they will receive sponsorship for the entirety of their secondary school education.

Under this initiative, the top three performing JSS3 students will receive a cash prize of N200,000 each, while the three best performing JSS2 students will be awarded N100,000 each, respectively.

In response, the principal of Total Child School Awka, Evang. Udoh Joy, expressed gratitude for Commissioner Adeoye's generosity, calling on other well-to-do Nigerians to emulate such acts of benevolence.
