ATBU VC Receives AIG AbdurRahman for Security Meeting

The Vice Chancellor of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Professor I.H. Garba, has received AIG Ahmad AbdurRahman, Chief Security Adviser to the Bauchi State Governor, for a strategic security meeting.

The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration between the state government, university management, and students in addressing security concerns within and around ATBU campuses.

The delegation, led by AIG AbdurRahman, also embarked on unscheduled visits to student hostels to directly hear challenges and concerns from students. The initiative was widely praised by student leaders and university authorities as a timely and commendable step in promoting campus safety and enhancing academic stability.
