Balance Academics and Morality, LASUED VC Counsels LASU MSSN Members

The Vice-Chancellor of the Lagos State University of Education (LASUED), Professor Bidemi Bilkis Lafiaji-Okuneye, hosted the Lagos State University (LASU) Chapter of the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN) during a courtesy visit on Friday, December 12, 2025. 

In her remarks to the student body, Professor Lafiaji-Okuneye expressed gratitude for their physical and spiritual support and encouraged them to remain steadfast in their faith, uphold strong moral values, and serve as worthy ambassadors of their institution and society.

The Vice-Chancellor used the platform to offer crucial guidance regarding student life, cautioning the students against activities that could jeopardize their academic pursuits. She stressed the necessity of discipline and the importance of striking a healthy balance between academic obligations and non-academic engagements.
