Bauchi University's Law and Religion Centre Receives $95,000 in International Funding
Additionally, the Centre has received $25,000 from the International Center for Law and Religious Studies at Brigham Young University, USA. This will facilitate a seminar in August 2024, hosting 71 Deans of Law from Nigerian universities, as well as international experts.

The Centre for Law and Religion Studies at Sa’adu Zungur University (formerly Bauchi State University Gadau) has secured $95,000 in funding from international organizations. This support aims to enhance the Centre's mission of advancing scholarship and dialogue on law and religion.
The grant includes $60,000 from the Norwegian Center for Human Rights at the University of Oslo. This funding will support an academic fellowship program to train 15 academic staff from various Nigerian universities in law and religion studies over three years.
Additionally, the Centre has received $25,000 from the International Center for Law and Religious Studies at Brigham Young University, USA. This will facilitate a seminar in August 2024, hosting 71 Deans of Law from Nigerian universities, as well as international experts.
The Centre also received $10,000 from Professor Nazila Ghanea of the University of Oxford, designated for supporting students and operations related to freedom of religion advocacy.
