Bayero University, Kano, has announced the appointment of five staff members to various positions in the Department of Veterinary Medicine, effective July 1, 2024.
The appointments, approved by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, are as follows:

1. Dr. Aliyu Musawa Ibrahim - Head, Department of Veterinary Public Health and Preventive Medicine
2. Dr. Ahmad Kabir Maigari - Head, Department of Veterinary Parasitology and Entomology
3. Dr. Gali Abaka Umaru - Head, Department of Veterinary Microbiology
4. Dr. Mustapha Isyaku Sanda - Acting Head, Department of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology
5. Dr. Bakari Ado Hussaini - Acting Head, Department of Veterinary Pathology
