Bayero University CGS Director Highlights Achievements, Welcomes Successor’s Vision

Dr. Suwaiba Sa'id Ahmad, the outgoing Director of the Centre for Gender Studies (CGS) at Bayero University, Kano, expressed heartfelt gratitude as she reflected on her time at the center. In an emotional statement, she described CGS as her second home, commending the supportive environment and teamwork that defined her experience.
Dr. Ahmad praised the unwavering support of Professor Dukku and other staff members, which she said made her role easier. Looking to the future, Dr. Ahmad warmly welcomed her successor, Amb. Dr. Satiya, whose dedication and work ethic she applauded. Confident in Dr. Satiya's potential, she noted that her successor’s connections and commitment would drive further growth for the center.
Reflecting on her accomplishments, Dr. Ahmad highlighted achieving full accreditation for the center's programs and implementing college admission practices aligned with JAMB regulations. She also underscored the center’s renewed adherence to its college parliament structure, a move intended to strengthen governance and operations.
