Bayero University Kano Appoints Three New Deputy Vice Chancellors

The Senate of Bayero University Kano has approved the appointments of three new Deputy Vice Chancellors at its 421st meeting held on February 26, 2025.

 

Professor Haruna Musa, a seasoned academic and former Head of Department of Pure and Industrial Chemistry, has been appointed as the Deputy Vice Chancellor Academics. He brings a wealth of experience in academic leadership to his new role.

Professor Aliyu Mu'azu, an expert in higher education administration, has been appointed as the Deputy Vice Chancellor Management Services. He has obtained a Certificate Course on Higher Education and Administration from China and is a member of the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies.

Professor Amina Mustapha, a renowned researcher in Agricultural Marketing and Value Chain Analysis, has been appointed as the Deputy Vice Chancellor Research and Development. She is the first female professor from Yauri Emirate of Kebbi state.

 

These appointments are expected to enhance the university's academic, management, and research services.
