Bayero University, Kano Denies Security Breach Reports on Campus

The management of Bayero University in Kano State has vehemently denied reports of a security breach on its campus. Addressing the issue in a statement, the university's Deputy Registrar, Public Affairs, Lamara Garba, clarified that there is no truth to what has been described as a "fake alarm" concerning security matters at the institution.

Expressing concern over the spread of false information, the statement noted that fabricating such news is not only misleading but also has the potential to cause panic within the university and the broader Kano environment. The university appealed to the public to disregard any purported alarms regarding threats to security on its campus.
