The Dress Code Committee of Bayero University, Kano (BUK), organized a one-day workshop to educate stakeholders on dress code policies and enforcement.

The event, themed "Dress Code Enlightenment and Enforcement," aimed to promote professional and decent dressing among staff and students.

Dr. Nu'uman Muhammad Habib, Chairman of the University Dress Code Committee, emphasized the significance of dress code in reflecting the University's reputation. He urged faculty and staff to set a positive example for students through appropriate attire.

Prof. Muhammad Babangida Muhammad stressed the importance of awareness programs and balance between character development and learning. Dr. Maryam Liman addressed issues related to female students, emphasizing proper dressing aligned with cultural and legal expectations.

Dr. Sabi'u Zakari Yarima advocated for security personnel's role in enforcing dress code policies, suggesting a clear mechanism for security officers to handle dress code violations.
