Benue State University, Makurdi, in partnership with the Tiv Language Studies Development Association, is set to host an international conference on Tiv Language, History, and Culture from November 10th to 12th, 2024. This significant event aims to unite scholars, researchers, and community leaders to advance the development and revitalization of the Tiv language and its cultural heritage.

The conference aims to shift this perspective by offering a platform for experts to share their knowledge, research, and effective practices for teaching and promoting the Tiv language.

The event will feature keynote addresses, paper presentations, and panel discussions covering various aspects of Tiv language, history, and culture. Additionally, participants will enjoy cultural performances, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
