FCT College of Education Zuba Set to Hold 3rd Combined Convocation Ceremony

The FCT College of Education (COE), Zuba-Abuja, has announced plans for its 3rd Combined Convocation Ceremony, which will celebrate the achievements of students awarded the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE). The main convocation event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Convocation Arena, located between the Twin Lecture Theatres on the Main Campus.

In the days leading up to the main event, the college has organized a series of pre-convocation activities. The festivities will kick off on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, with a press briefing led by the Provost, Dr. Sule Mundi. This briefing will take place at 10:00 a.m. in the Conference Room, Ground Floor, of the Administrative Block on the Main Campus.

On Thursday, November 21, 2024, the college will host a convocation lecture titled "Emerging Trends in Education and Technology" to be delivered by Prof. Abdallah Uba Adamu from the Department of Information & Media Studies, Bayero University, Kano. The lecture will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the Dr. Muhammad Gambo Hamza Hall on the Main Campus.

The pre-convocation events will also feature a drama performance by the FCT COE Drama Troupe on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the New Multi-Purpose Hall on the Mini Campus.
