NSUK Vice-Chancellor Hosts Three Professional Accreditation Teams

The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, alongside the university management, welcomed delegations from three professional regulatory bodies on Monday, 17th November 2025, at the Senate Chamber for accreditation and reaccreditation exercises.

The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, alongside the university management, welcomed delegations from three professional regulatory bodies on Monday, 17th November 2025, at the Senate Chamber for accreditation and reaccreditation exercises.

The visiting bodies included:

  • Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) – conducted professional accreditation for B.Sc. Chemical Engineering, B.Sc. Electrical/Electronics Engineering, and B.Sc. Civil Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering, Gudi.
  • Town Planners Registration Council of Nigeria (TOPREC) – carried out reaccreditation for the B.Sc. Urban and Regional Planning (URP) programme in the Faculty of Environmental Sciences.
  • Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria (HRORBN) – undertook professional accreditation of the B.Sc. Health Information Management programme in the College of Medicine and Allied Sciences.

In her address, Professor Liman expressed delight in hosting the teams, noting that accreditation exercises are key to strengthening academic quality, institutional performance, and compliance with national and global standards. She thanked the bodies for their commitment to professional excellence and wished them a successful assessment.
