The Managing Director, Publishers Bookshop Agency, Asaba, Mr Caleb Chukwunwike has donated books and journals worth twenty-five million naira (#25,000,000) to University of Delta, Agbor.

The Managing Director, Publishers Bookshop Agency, Asaba, Mr Caleb Chukwunwike has donated books and journals worth twenty-five million naira (#25,000,000) to University of Delta, Agbor.

Presenting the books to the Vice Chancellor, Prof Stella Chiemeke, Mr Chukwunweike said that UNlDEL was chosen as a beneficiary because it was one of the fastest growing Universities in Sub- Saharan Africa as well as the numerous accomplishments recorded by the Institution within the short time of its existence.

Mr Chukwunweike also disclosed that the donation of the books was to help increase the resources available in the institution's library as well as encourage the students to avail themselves of the resources by nurturing a reading culture.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof Stella Chiemeke thanked the Publishers for donating the books which were made up of 122 books for Nursing students and 22 books for Engineering students.

She assured the company that the books would be used judiciously.
