A book titled " Gender, Women and Protest Dramaturgy in Nigeria" written by Dr Augustine Obiajulu Eziechine has been approved and published by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (Tetfund).

A book titled " Gender, Women and Protest Dramaturgy in Nigeria" written by Dr Augustine Obiajulu Eziechine has been approved and published by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (Tetfund).

Speaking, Dr Eziechine who, is a senior lecturer and head, Department of Languages, University of Delta Agbor disclosed that the book was in his original form used as dissertation for the award of his Degree of Doctor of Philosophy but, selected as one of the best by Tetfund from the entire federation.

He noted that after critical assessments, the book was converted to textbook by Tetfund Development Project which, would be used by Nigerian Tertiary institutions.

Encapsulated in six chapters, the book, Gender, Women and Protest Dramaturgy in Nigeria is primarily on issues of gender and women protest in Nigeria. It chronicles the line of demarcation between the male and female.

It also highlights the major issues that impact on women as well as proffers possible panacea on how to bridge the gap between the male and female gender especially in leadership positions.
