In a bid to guarantee safety on the highways in Delta State especially in University of Delta Agbor and its environs, the Federal Road Safety Commission, Delta State Command, has assured the Management of the University of free training for its staff.

The newly appointed sector commandant for Delta State,corp commander M.A lrekeola made the disclosure when he led his team on a courtesy call on the management of University of Delta, Agbor on Wednesday, 26th June 2024.

Commander Irekeola expressed satisfaction with the cordial and robust relationship existing between his office and the institution and commended the Vice Chancellor for making it possible.

The Vice Chancellor of UNIDEL, Prof Stella Chiemeke, thanked the team for the visit and assured them of a better synergy and collaboration.

Commander Irekeola was accompanied by the assistant sector commander S.O Agbakoba, Engr. Pius Eriabor and P. Diayi. Others were Michael Okoh, Oge Otomewo, and Rita Okoye.

The team was received by the Vice Chancellor Prof Stella Chiemeke, his Deputy Prof Patricia Mbah, the Registrar Barrister Richmond Omagbemi, Bursar Mr Sunny lkeogwu and the University Librarian Dr Mrs Vera Okonoko.
