The University of Nigeria (UNN) has issued an addendum to its 2022/2023 Supplementary Admission Lists. This new update comes with several crucial instructions for candidates recommended for provisional admission for the upcoming academic session.
The university announced the release of the "Addendum to 2022/2023 Supplementary Admission List III" and the "Addendum to 2022/2023 Supplementary Direct Entry Admission List III." These lists can be downloaded by clicking on the respective links provided on the university's official website. Candidates who find their names on these supplementary lists are urged to adhere to the following instructions. All candidates are strongly advised to promptly upload their O/Level results into the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Portal using a JAMB approved Computer-Based Testing (CBT) Center if they have not already done so. It is essential to ensure that the upload has been successfully completed in the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS). Please note that the admission process cannot proceed until the proper upload of O/Level results is confirmed.

Candidates who have been provisionally recommended for admission in courses different from the ones they initially applied for through JAMB (either through the Advert/Shopping or Supplementary route) are required to visit an accredited CBT Center urgently. At the center, they should request a change of course from their original courses of application to the ones recommended. After making the change, candidates should print and submit their updated admission status from CAPS to the Admissions Office. This step is crucial, as it is the only authentic way to secure admission in the recommended courses.
After successfully completing steps one and two, candidates should visit the JAMB Portal and accept their admission on CAPS by clicking "Accept Admission." It's essential to note that failing to accept admission on JAMB CAPS will result in candidates not being issued a JAMB Admission Letter and being deemed as not admitted. To secure their admission, candidates should visit the University of Nigeria's official website (unn.edu.ng) or portal (unnportal.edu.ng). Here, they can log in using their JAMB Registration number to generate a Payment Invoice containing a Remitta number. This invoice allows for payment at any Commercial Bank, including UNN Microfinance Bank. Candidates are required to pay an acceptance fee of Thirty Thousand Naira Only (N30,000.00). It is essential to ensure that the Invoice number is keyed in correctly at the bank to obtain a confirmation slip containing your Confirmation number and Invoice number.

After the payment of the acceptance fee, candidates should revisit the University of Nigeria's website and log in using their JAMB Registration Number, the Confirmation Number, and Invoice Number. Here, they can print the Admission slip and complete the Acceptance Form online. Candidates should proceed with other fee payments and registration processes as indicated on the University of Nigeria's website. It's crucial for candidates to bear in mind that this admission is provisional. At any point in the future, including during the final year, if it is discovered that a candidate does not meet the minimum university and faculty/departmental entry requirements for the course, as prescribed by the Senate of the University and published in the JAMB Brochure, the offer of admission will be withdrawn. Prospective students are encouraged to follow these instructions diligently and ensure timely compliance to secure their positions in the University of Nigeria for the 2022/2023 academic session.
