The 15th Assembly in a release describe the action of SUG President as unwise and incongruous. The SUG senate further accused him of not performing his role as president saying "Comr. Humphrey who has never, during his time as President of the Union spoken up for the welfare of Nigerian Students in UNICROSS would condescend into that show of shame and blatant shenanigan instead of championing for the interest of Nigerian students. It's regrettable. This is a President that hasn't held a single congress or an event since he came onboard as the SUG President and consequently stifled every opportunity for students to communicate their plights to the management". The release added.

It further states that "Following our emergency Senate Meeting, the SUG Senate of UNICROSS came up with the following resolutions:

1. That the senate was presided by the Deputy Senate President and thereafter the earlier Suspended Senate President was reinstated into office.

2. SUG Senate of UNICROSS distances herself from the protest that was led by Comr. Ogbodim Udop Humphrey.

4. That She, Comr. Theresa Theodore Ejah after 2/3 Majority Vote is now mandated to assume office as the acting SUG President of UNICROSS pending the outcome of investigation.

5. That a five man investigative committee on the petition against Comrade Humphrey have been formed to be headed by the Senate President and four others.

However, the Senate describe such action as unwise, incongruous and highly demeaning for anyone or a group of persons to dedicate their time, uncommon energy from the Union to take part in such display. It is a GROSS MISCONDUCT, ABUSE OF and OFFICE, BREACH OF STUDENTS' ACTIVITIES and we humbly take exceptions to such a ridiculous and inglorious display and want to assure the newly appointed acting Vice Chancellor of our commitment in supporting his administration.
