Clarification on IMSU Supplementary Form: Multiple Course Options for Aspirants
Aspiring IMSU Students Gain Insight into Supplementary Form Process
In a recent announcement, the Imo State University (IMSU) has provided further clarification on the supplementary form process for prospective students .
Aspirants are informed that the supplementary form allows them to add an additional course to the one they initially applied for, without replacing the original choice. For example, if a candidate like Obi initially applied for Nursing Science in both JAMB and Post UTME, and on the supplementary form, added Industrial Chemistry, it means that Obi could potentially be offered admission into either "Nursing Science" or "Industrial Chemistry" based on his final scores.
The selection of the course is contingent on the candidate's performance; if the score is higher, the expectation is that the school will offer admission into the preferred course with the higher score. Conversely, if the score is lower, the candidate may be considered for the alternative course added during the supplementary process.

Importantly, if a candidate does not meet the cutoff for either of the chosen courses, the school will assign a course based on its own criteria.
The university emphasizes that the entire process hinges on the candidates' scores, and the outcome will be determined by how well they perform in the evaluation.
