Dr. Jonathan Thani, the Provost of the Nasarawa State College of Education (COE), Akwanga, has urged students to refrain from participating in the upcoming 10-day nationwide protest against bad governance, set to begin on Thursday, August 1st.

In a meeting held on Monday with the officials of the institution's Students Union Government (SUG), Thani emphasized that the protest, dubbed #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria, is a distraction from their academic pursuits. He assured the students of his administration's commitment to creating a conducive environment for learning and encouraged them to remain law-abiding and focused on their studies.
