Consider DNA Test if Married to Female Politician - Nigerian Lecturer Advises
A Nigerian lecturer, expressed this opinion on Facebook, stating, “If you are married to a woman who stays out late due to political activities, my brother, do a DNA test.” Oviosun justified his advice by recounting an incident where he encountered a married woman in a late-night meeting with a politician at a hotel in Benin City.
A Nigerian lecturer, Dr. Augustine Oviosun, has advised men to consider carrying out DNA paternity tests on their children if they are married to female politicians who stay out late.
He expressed this opinion on Facebook, stating, “If you are married to a woman who stays out late due to political activities, my brother, do a DNA test.” Oviosun justified his advice by recounting an incident where he encountered a married woman in a late-night meeting with a politician at a hotel in Benin City.

He further stated, “Not all women in politics are responsible, this is true.” He clarified that his post specifically refers to a certain category of women. He emphasized, “I am referring to ‘ANY lady’ who spends late nights into the early hours due to politics. Any man married to such a woman should simply do a DNA test. No offense intended.”

Oviosun further explained that his comments are not a blanket statement about all women. Instead, he believes that a few women have tarnished the reputation of the majority. “We have some very decent women who should be encouraged to participate in politics, but a few of them are spoiling the image of the good ones,” he added.
