State University of Technology (CRUTECH) Announces Closure of University for 2023 Election

The Management of Cross River University of Technology hereby wishes to inform all Staff, Students, and the entire University Community that the Institution will shut down all academic activities between Wednesday, February 22, and Tuesday March 14, 2023 as directed.

State University of Technology (CRUTECH) CLOSURE OF THE UNIVERSITY AHEAD OF THE 2023 GENERAL ELECTIONS

In line with the Federal Government directive issued on February 03, 2023 by the National Universities Commission (NUC), requesting all Nigerian Universities and Inter-Universities Centres to close between Wednesday, February 22, and Tuesday, March 14, 2023 ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Management of Cross River University of Technology hereby wishes to inform all Staff, Students and the entire University Community that the Institution will shut down all academic activities between Wednesday, February 22, and Tuesday March 14, 2023 as directed.

Consequently.

1. All Students residing in the Halls/Hostels are to vacate their premises within the period.

2. All academic activities will resume immediately thereafter on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

13. All Staff on essential duties are to continue with their services through the period of closure.
