The Management of the Delta State University (DELSU) has issued notice to all the newly admitted students on payment of acceptance fee and screening exercise for the 2023/2024 academic session, Myschoolnews report.

All candidates who applied for admission through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and were successful and offered Provisional Admission to 100 level (UTME) courses at the Delta State University, Abraka for the 2023/2024 academic session are each required to make immediate payment of a non-refundable acceptance fee as indicated below and tender the evidence at the point of screening in the relevant Faculties.

Medicine & Surgery, Law and Nursing Science
Deltan - 65,000
Non Deltan - 75,000

Pharmacy and Engineering
Deltan - 60,000
Non Deltan - 70,000

Other Faculties/Department
Deltan - 50,000
Non Deltan - 60,000

Acceptance of Admission in CAPS:
A Provisionally admitted candidate has to visit JAMB CAPS Site and accept his or her offer of admission as from Monday, 18th September, 2023. The candidates have a maximum of four weeks from the date of the provisional admission to do this. Failure would leave JAMB with the choice of placing their names under "refusal to accept admission" and this is punishable by ineligibility to be admitted again by JAMB.

Faculty Screening:
Candidates are advised to take the following items/documents with them to their Faculties for the Screening Exercise which starts immediately and would last for 4 (four) weeks.

a. Evidence of payment of Acceptance fee

b. Original JAMB Admission Letter

c. Original UTME result printout not notification of result, computer printout of private candidates

g. Local Government of origin or State of origin Certificate not affidavit of Local Government

i. Passport photographs with red background (12 copies) with one passport on the file and two passport on only the clearance form

j. All candidates who obtained their entry qualifications, i.e WASC, GCE, NECO, etc, on or before 2020 (WAEC) must tender the original of their certificates

k. The use of affidavit in lieu of Statement of Result and correction of names will not be accepted.

l. University Health Centre Medical Card
