Dr. Adeleke Omolade Commends FUOYE's CBT Centre for High-Quality Facilities

Dr. Adeleke Omolade, the Director of the Centre for Continuing Education at FUOYE, commended the institution for its top-notch facilities at the newly inaugurated Aare Adebayo Akomolafe CBT Centre.

Dr. Adeleke Omolade, the Director of the Centre for Continuing Education at the Federal University, Oye Ekiti (FUOYE), has praised the institution for its state-of-the-art facilities provided for Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) and other Computer-Based tests and examinations.

Omolade attributed the success of the development to the support received from FUOYE's Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abayomi Fasina, philanthropist Aare Adebayo Akomolafe, and the community of Ire-Ekiti. Akomolafe notably donated an ultra-modern facility equipped with 275 new laptops, named the Aare Adebayo Akomolafe CBT Centre, to FUOYE's Institute of Part-time Studies in Ire Ekiti in December of the previous year.

The recent UTME held on April 19th and 20th marked the inaugural examinations conducted in this cutting-edge facility.

The CCE Director expressed satisfaction with the smooth and conducive conduct of the UTME, with all 1038 candidates experiencing a seamless examination process in a serene environment. He noted that the quality of the facility was commended by the JAMB Monitoring Team, led by Prof. Smaranda Olarinde of Afe Babalola University.

Dr. Omolade extended appreciation to Aare Adebayo Akomolafe for his philanthropic gesture and to Prof. Abayomi Fasina for his unwavering support in realizing the objectives of the Institute of Part-time Studies.
