Ekiti State Polytechnic Partners FF Hotel for Hospitality Management Programme
Ekiti State Polytechnic, Iṣan-Ekiti, has signed an MoU with FF Hotel to enhance its Hospitality Management Technology programme. The partnership, aimed at providing students with hands-on industry experience, was formalized at a ceremony on March 7, 2025.

Ekiti State Polytechnic, Iṣan-Ekiti, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FF Hotel, Iṣan-Ekiti, to enhance its Hospitality Management Technology programme. This partnership aims to provide students with hands-on experience in the hospitality industry and strengthen the Polytechnic’s commitment to technical and vocational education.
The MoU signing ceremony, held on Friday, March 7, 2025, at FF Hotel, was attended by key dignitaries from the institution. Speaking at the event, the Rector, Dr. Sunday Osinkolu Ajeigbe, emphasized the importance of industry collaboration in technical education. He noted that the agreement would equip students with practical exposure necessary for excellence in the hospitality sector.
Dr. Ajeigbe expressed optimism that the accreditation of the Hospitality Management Technology programme by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) would further position Ekiti State Polytechnic as a leading institution for vocational education in Nigeria.
The proprietor of FF Hotel, Mr. Ṣẹgun Fayemi, commended the initiative and reaffirmed the hotel’s commitment to supporting the Polytechnic in training graduates who meet industry standards.
Also present at the event were the Registrar, Mrs. Abímbólá Yetunde Adewumi; the Bursar, Mr. Oludayo Awe; the Polytechnic Librarian, Dr. Ayodeji Akerele; and other senior officials. The General Manager of FF Hotel, Comrade Saliu Odunayo, was also in attendance.
With this partnership, students of Hospitality Management Technology at Ekiti State Polytechnic will gain real-world training in a professional hospitality setting, aligning with global best practices in technical education.
