EMNAMU Foundation to Offer Scholarships to 7,000 Adamawa Students

The EMNAMU Foundation, a non-governmental organization, has announced plans to provide scholarships to 7,000 Adamawa students enrolled in various public tertiary institutions. The initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden faced by students in light of current economic challenges.
Professor Aliyu Manpa, a committee chairperson and faculty member at the University of Maiduguri, revealed this decision after the inaugural meeting of the organization. Dr. Emmanuel Musa, President of the foundation, emphasized the importance of creating a robust and inclusive scholarship scheme to support academically deserving students from Adamawa State.

The foundation's committee outlined the scope of the scholarship program, which will cover students studying in universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, nursing schools, and other accredited tertiary institutions across Nigeria. Additionally, exceptional students from Northeastern Nigeria will receive free Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) forms.
In the forthcoming days, the committee will finalize eligibility criteria, selection processes, and other necessary procedures for the implementation of the scholarship scheme.
