Ezeala Ferdinand Akano Invested as Grand Ambassador at Global IMSU Alumni Convention
Ezeala Ferdinand Akano was honored as Grand Ambassador at the Global IMSU Alumni Convention on September 7, 2024, in Abakaliki. The award was presented by Prof. Ezeanyika Samuel Ezeanyika, with Prof. Innocent Chuka Okonkwo receiving the Life Time Achievers Merit Award.

On September 7, 2024, Ezeala Ferdinand Akano was honored as the Grand Ambassador of the Global IMSU Alumni at their Annual Convention held at the Akanu Ibiam International Conference Center in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.
The accolade was presented by Prof. Ezeanyika Samuel Ezeanyika, Head of the Department of Political Science at Imo State University (IMSU) and keynote speaker at the event. Prof. Innocent Chuka Okonkwo, former Vice Chancellor of IMSU and a key figure in establishing the IMSU Alumni Association, was also recognized with the Life Time Achievers Merit Award for his contributions.
Akano expressed gratitude to Dr. Anayo C. Uhiara, Global President of the Global IMSU Alumni, Amb. Patrick Akushie, Board of Trustees Chairman, and all other members of the Executive Council and Chapters for the recognition. The three-day convention was highlighted as a memorable and engaging event, praised for its educational and celebratory aspects.
